CHILDREN’S MEAL PROGRAM, SUMMER 2021
Sandusky Library continues its partnership with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide shelf-stable meals for children under the age of 18. The free meal program is open to all children regardless of financial status. Meals will be distributed Monday–Friday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. from the Library’s parking lot. Each nutritionally balanced meal features items from all 5 MyPlate Food groups. Each meal is provided free of charge from the Children’s Hunger Alliance.
Patrons who will be in a vehicle may enter the Library’s parking lot from the Columbus Avenue entrance beginning at 11:55 p.m. and pull up to the sidewalk area at our main entrance. Please remain in your vehicle and a staff member will hand you your child’s meal/s. After receiving your meal/s, you will exit our parking lot through the Jackson Street exit.
